We’re interested in people we can’t quite figure out. We want to know how they got where they are, and what they might do next.
The Foundry publishes original stories from Brazen’s team and our contributors. A story might follow one person, open up an unfamiliar world or trace the fortunes of a family or a place. Some unfold in instalments.
Have a character-driven story you’d like to tell? Pitch us.
Brazen also makes podcasts and develops stories for film and television. The Foundry is where you can read us. You can hear more at Brazen FM and follow our investigative reporting at Whale Hunting.

Subscribe for new stories and the next instalment. You’ll receive Foundry emails only, with a release schedule when each series begins. Between projects, we won’t send emails just to fill your inbox.
